“Peaceful Clean Home.”

This property was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well outfitted. The home was very comfortable and is as pictured. It was located in a quiet area and has a great view. A walk into town only takes 10-15 minutes. There were hiking trails along the Madison River. Although we did not fish, we saw fishermen on the river while hiking. It looked like a great opportunity and location to fish. We had intended to go to Yellowstone & Bozeman while staying at the house, but after arriving we decided to enjoy the week in our home! The house does not have a.c. We were comfortable without it. We were there the end of July and part of August and there was a wonderful breeze that blew most of the time. Of course, there were cool mornings and evenings. The stereo was not working when we were there but I am sure the owner will be setting that up soon. He was on top of all aspects of the house and was very helpful with questions. We would recommend this property to friends and family

“The Perfect Madison River Accomodations”

My wife and I stayed at the Anglers' Rest in Ennis during the last two weeks of June 2014. The home is in the best location for anyone interested in fishing the Madison as well as the many surrounding mountain lakes and streams. It is located within the city of Ennis and is also within walking distance of downtown and therefore close to all of its amenities and shopping. The house is very private and has the best views of the surrounding mountains. The home has a very well equipped kitchen, a large living / family room with large screen HD tv and reliable WiFi. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and well appointed. For the fly fisherman, there are five public wade-in fishing access sites all within approximately 15 minutes of the home (actually, all but one is within an approximate 5 minute drive of the home). And the Ruby River is approximately a 25 minute drive away. For the non-fisherman, Virginia City and Nevada City are a short 15 drive from the home. My wife and I are already making plans to return next year. You can not find a better location nor a better value than the Anglers' Rest.

“Montana Hunter's and Fishermen”

This is a great place to vacation. You are surrounded by beautiful scenery which includes mountains, rivers and tons of deer all around you. The town of Ennis is friendly with great shops and pubs. You a surrounded by historical places to visit along with one of the best parks in the world "Yellowstone".

We have rented many properties all over the USA and were very pleased with our stay at the Anglers Rest. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and stocked with lots of everyday items. The beds, linens and towels (plenty of towels) were all great. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed The location was very quiet yet only minutes from downtown. This is a great place to relax. . The owner was easy to contact and a pleasure to deal with.
