About the owner: Ric is a retired high school teacher and coach. Cindy is a retired middle school teacher, professional dancer, and professional seamstress. Ric loves fly fishing, hunting, coaching high school football and track & field. Cindy, the artistic one, enjoys designing and making custom dance costumes. Her signature decorating ideas are responsible for much of the beautiful decor at the Angler's Rest and Retreat.

The Madison River Anglers Rest and Retreat at 33 Last Best Place offered a perfect fit for our needs. Outstanding views, closeness to the Madison, and its ideal location in respect to Yellowstone National Park and Bozeman made this a choice we could not pass on. Certainly the ability to be at any of the classic fly fishing destinations in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming within a 1-3 hours was also a huge factor. Also, with the address number '33' matching Ric's jersey number in high school and college, this was meant to be!
